Hurry Up and Wait

On sunday night i was taken down to the ogden clinic urgent care with a temp of 102.9 i was not feeling good actually i was pretty sure i was about to die. Well we got there and the nurse asked what the problem was that i was needing to be there for. Dad explained it and filled out the nessasary stuff to get me in. they told us that it would be about an hour wait so we took our seats like the other patients waiting. Not long of sitting there and what do you kno i found myself asleep on the floor and dad had put a blanket over my head to block some of the light. I woke up after what seemed like an hour or so and asked how long it had been and if we would be going in soon. It had only been 15 mins. "Someone shoot me" were the exact words going through my head. Next up who would have guessed you cant go to a doctor without eventually having to deal with the screaming kids and in the walked 3 crazy little boys all at the age of learning that they can actually run around and be abnoxious and that there was no better place to do it then in doctors office with a but of sick people. After about an hour or so we were finally taken back. My nurse i was convinced was crazy and to be honest i wasnt up for her lame humor she thought it was funny but she was the only one laughing HA HA NO!!!!! is what i was thinking. She decided to stick some long Q- tips up my nose and then leave. I will be back in 15 mins ok. 20 mins later i hear her loud voice talking about christmas and how she wanted a big box of donuts. At the time i was about to kill someone it prob would have been dad considering he was the only one in that tiny room but i couldnt do that cuase he looked so innocent with his little news paper so i wouldnt do that to him. then that annoying "All i want for christmas is my two front teeth" came into my head and i was thinking all i want for christmas is to GET OUT OF HERE and i figured with how slow they were going i would be lucky to be out of there by christmas. Finally the doctor came in and told us that i had swine flu. then he suggested that we drive all the way to layton and get the medication that i would need. I will never forget the ogden clinic and never stop hoping that someone who really needs help urgently goes there. it is urgent believe me so urgent that they want you to get in fast. "HURRY UP" they say but in my head it is just another one of those things like the adds that sound so great and amazing and in the tiniest letters at the bottom of the page is the catch. Its just another "HURRY UP" and wait!!!!!!!!!!
